CodeGateway charges a markup on top of Anthropic official prices — this is how we sustain the service. The markup covers server costs (low-latency, high-availability global nodes), payment processing fees (Stripe / Alipay), and operational risks (FX exposure, reliability, and security compliance). We use a single flat markup of 1.07x, with a 2% service fee added on top-ups.
API cost = Anthropic official price × markup. For example, if the official price is $3.00/MTok and the markup is 1.07x, you pay $3.21/MTok. Consumption markup is flat at 1.07x (plan 3: ladder flattened); top-ups add a 2% service fee. All rates are displayed transparently on the pricing page.
