QWhat are the free tier limits?

New users receive $2 free credit on sign-up — enough to try the full service with no upfront payment required.

QHow do I get started?

Sign up, create an API key, replace your API base URL with CodeGateway's endpoint, and you're ready to go. Check our docs for detailed guides.

QWhich AI models are supported?
A

We currently support the full Anthropic Claude model family (Opus, Sonnet, Haiku), with OpenAI GPT models coming soon.

QIs my data secure?
A

We never store your request content. All data transmission is encrypted via TLS. We only log essential billing metadata (token counts, etc.) — never your business data.

QWhy is there a markup?
A

CodeGateway applies a markup on top of Anthropic's official prices. This is how we sustain our service — it covers global CDN acceleration, high-availability infrastructure, API key management, usage analytics, and security operations. We strive to keep the markup fair while maintaining quality.

QHow is the markup calculated?
A

API cost = Anthropic official price × markup. For example, if the official price is $3.00/MTok and the markup is 1.35x, you pay $4.05/MTok. We use a tiered system: the more you spend within 90 days, the lower your markup (1.25x for new users, down to 1.05x). All markups are displayed transparently on the pricing page.

QWhat payment methods are available?

We accept credit cards (Visa / Mastercard / AmEx), Alipay, and WeChat Pay, powered by Stripe for secure payment processing. A Stripe processing fee (~3.9% + $0.30/transaction) applies to top-ups.

QCan I get a refund?
A

Yes. We support self-service refunds. Refundable amount = account balance − gifted balance. Stripe processing fees are non-refundable. See the billing page for details.
